iFixit Offers Google Pixel 2 To 6 Pro Repair Components

iFixit is a website that sells repair components and offers free wiki-style online repair tips for consumer devices and gadgets. In April, Google revealed intentions to join the growing number of IT businesses collaborating with iFixit. The repair mavens sell parts and equipment to consumers who want to do their own electronics repairs, and iFixit's shop now sells official Google components for various Pixel phones.

Users can get everything they need to fix anything from the Pixel 2 to the newest Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, including equipment for installation and step-by-step tutorials.

iFixit Now Caters to Pixel Devices

Users no longer have to choose between taking their broken electronic item to a repair shop or throwing it away if it has a broken screen or charging connection. Instead, there are other options available. iFixit sells a wide variety of repair kits, and although the prices rise with the age of the device (the kit to replace the screen of a Pixel 6 Pro with a brand-new original would set you back $199.99), there is a significant amount of variation in the prices of these kits.

Cheaper replacement components for older smartphones should help keep such phones functional, but we recommend you use a clone phone app and spring for an upgrade. Nevertheless, if you are satisfied with the Android software update support they are getting, your device should be capable of carrying out basic functions easily.

Companies like Microsoft, HTC, and even Valve's Steam Deck are already part of iFixit's distribution agreements for parts and tools. There is also an upcoming collaboration with Samsung, and although we will have to wait for more information on that front, it does not seem that a kit delivery of 79 pounds will be necessary.
