Pixel Phones Can Still Send Files via AirDrop and Now More Devices Are Included

When Google first revealed that its Pixel 10 phones could interact with Apple’s AirDrop system, many assumed the feature would be short lived. Cross platform compatibility at that level felt almost too good to last.

Months later, not only is it still working, but Google has expanded the capability to the Pixel 9 lineup as well, excluding only the budget focused Pixel 9A.

How AirDrop Compatibility Works on Pixel

With the update, most Pixel 9 devices can now send files directly to Apple devices in a way that mirrors the AirDrop experience.
