After months of speculation about Samsung’s 2026 lineup, the Galaxy S26 Plus is back in the spotlight. Initially, rumors suggested the S26 Plus would be scrapped in favor of a thin Edge model. The leaked renders show a design that feels familiar yet refined. The camera island is the most noticeable change, now positioned neatly below the triple-lens setup — reminiscent of the S26 Ultra and S26 Pro designs that were rumored earlier but may not release.

Design and Dimensions: Chunky, Not Ultra-Thin

The S26 Plus is reported to measure 7.35mm thick, slightly chunkier than the discontinued S25 Edge’s 5.8mm, but comparable to the S25 Plus. This suggests Samsung is moving away from the ultra-thin Edge aesthetic, instead focusing on durability and ergonomics.

The standard S26 is expected to be 7.24mm thick, slightly thicker than early Pro model rumors suggested. This indicates Samsung is prioritizing substance and usability over the extreme thinness that made the first Edge models notable.

Dutch fan site Galaxy Club reports that Samsung could be developing another Edge device codenamed “More Slim”, potentially launching a few months after the main lineup.
