Nothing OS 4.0 Beta Launches with Android 16 — But Some Devices Are Left Behind


Nothing has officially kicked off its Android 16-based Nothing OS 4.0 beta, bringing a wave of new features and AI enhancements. Conspicuously missing from the list are the Nothing Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro, leaving many users disappointed. It’s expected these models will join the beta in later phases, but there’s no official confirmation yet.

How to Install Nothing OS 4.0 Beta

To try the beta update, Nothing users will need to manually install the APK and join through the Beta Hub:

  1. Download the Beta Updates Hub APK from Nothing’s official page.

  2. Go to Settings > System > Nothing Beta Hub.

  3. Tap Join Beta to register.
