Important Note: If you’re currently on the Android 16 QPR1 beta and wish to switch to the stable channel without wiping your data, avoid installing QPR2 Beta 1. Instead:

  1. Opt out of the Android Beta Program.

  2. Do not install the “Android Beta Exit with Data Wipe” update.

  3. Wait for the stable QPR1 release on September 3, 2025.

Once you install QPR2 Beta 1, your next chance to exit the beta program without losing data will be with the stable release of Android 16 QPR2, expected on December 2, 2025.
