Notably, the camera bar has undergone a significant redesign, and the sides of the phone's frame are now flat. This shift to a flat frame is reminiscent of recent trends in Android brands in 2024, possibly inspired by Apple's success with its flat-sided iPhones.

Controversial Temperature Sensor Returns

A closer examination of the camera bar reveals the return of Google's controversial temperature sensor. While its utility has been questionable in the past, especially as a human thermometer, it remains to be seen if Google can secure the necessary approvals to enhance its functionality before the Pixel 9 Pro's debut.
