Samsung Set to Release Cheaper 6GB RAM Variant of Galaxy A34 5G in India


Samsung recently launched the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G in India, with the former being the cheapest model, priced at INR 30,999 ($376). The Galaxy A34 5G boasts of impressive specifications such as a 120Hz Super AMOLED display and MediaTek Dimensity 1080 5G chipset. However, recent reports suggest that Samsung is preparing to release a 6GB RAM variant of the device, which will be priced at INR 28,999 ($352), making it a cheaper option than the 8GB RAM model.

The Cheaper Variant

According to an exclusive report by 91Mobiles Hindi, Samsung is gearing up for the release of the Galaxy A34 5G with 6GB RAM in India. The report also reveals that the brand will offer a bank discount of up to INR 3,000 and a Samsung Shop App welcome voucher worth INR 1,000 ($12), which will bring the price of the device down to as low as INR 24,999 ($303). The upcoming variant is expected to be priced INR 3,000 (~$36) cheaper than the 8GB model.

Impressive Features

The Galaxy A34 5G offers an impressive 6.6-inch FullHD+ Super AMOLED display with a drop notch design and a high refresh rate panel of up to 120Hz. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 5G chipset and comes with triple camera lenses featuring a 48-megapixels primary lens, an 8-megapixels secondary ultrawide lens, and a 5-megapixel tertiary macro lens. The device also has a 13-megapixel selfie snapper housed inside the drop notch cutout and a 5000mAh battery that supports 25W fast wired charging. It will run on the Android 13-based OneUI 5.1 out of the box.
