Release Schedule for iOS 17

Apple is set to unveil iOS 17 at WWDC, its annual developers conference, which usually takes place during the first week of June. Apple will announce the dates for WWDC 2023 soon, and it is likely to be held on the week of June 5.

After announcing iOS 17 at WWDC in June, Apple will release a beta version to developers. In July, the company will make a public beta available to all iPhone users. Finally, iOS 17 will be released to the public sometime in September, probably alongside the launch of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro.

What are the new features of iOS 17?

While software leaks are less common than hardware leaks, the "big picture" of iOS 17 seems to be that it will be a relatively modest update in terms of new features. Bloomberg reports that iOS 17, along with Apple's other software platforms, is taking a backseat as the company focuses on developing its AR/VR headset. As a result, iOS 17 may have fewer major changes than originally planned. However, more leaks and rumors may emerge as we approach WWDC in June.
