Google Pixel Fold Animations Unveil an Impressive Design

Google is working on its foldable Pixel, and it's honestly about time. The entire project is pretty hush, hush hence, naturally, the multiple leaks have given us quite a vivid picture of what the Google Pixel Foldable will look like. The most recently surfaced renders give us even a closer look at the search engine giant's foldable device.

Google’s First Foldable: Leaked Renders

The latest rumor provides dimensions for the folding phone, which is said to have a 7.69-inch inner screen and a 5.79-inch exterior screen. When unfolded, the gadget measures about 158.7 x 139.7 x 5.7 mm. The Pixel Fold's size may seem unusual when compared to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, but it should provide a somewhat different approach than the Samsung phone. Instead of folding open to display a marginally wider-than-tall portrait-orientation screen, it opts for a landscape design.

Details on the software side remain few, but we can already have a sense of what to anticipate owing to our peak at Android 12L, which includes several large screen-oriented features and even an updated phonecopy Share Nearby feature that will be most beneficial on folding phones. The leaked renderings, on the other hand, show us what to anticipate from the Pixel Fold. The Fold-style gadget has an outside smartphone-like screen that folds up to expose a tiny tablet-sized internal display. Unlike other rivals, the Pixel Fold has large bezels at the top and bottom of the inner screen. They're large enough to hold the selfie camera. The remainder of the design language screams Pixel, with a camera bar at the back that mimics the visor from the standard Pixel phones as much as possible without interfering with the folding process.

As the reported May debut date approaches, we may expect more Pixel Fold leaks in the coming months. If previous leaks for other Google devices are any indication, we should expect much better images.
