Outstanding Chrome Feature that Outshines Safari

Google Chrome is a fantastic browser and mostly the used by Android users. However, Safari enthusiasts may make a switch thanks to the latest Chrome feature. Google has not released an official name but the feature allows users to compare their search results side by side.

Compare Your Search Results

To be honest, the feature is more useful than Tab Groups, pinned tabs, or any other addon we've seen this year. It allows you to compare search results in side-by-side windows without having to open several tabs or click back and forth.

To check it out, go to Chrome > About Google Chrome > About Chrome and make sure you have version 107.0.5304.87. If it isn't already installed, download it and restart your browser.

To use the feature, simply search for anything using the address bar, such as top clone it applications, and then click on the desired result. Click the "G" logo in the address bar after it has loaded. This will display the search results on the sidebar. Then you may quickly compare the two by clicking on another result in the same tab or a new one.

This will undoubtedly save you time. In Safari, users must return and try again, then return again to obtain the original; or start a new tab and re-enter the search query. This is often aggravating. Chrome's search comparison tool is similar to the Slide Over option on the iPad. The sidebar results page is like a little tab, so you may click across to a new result or search for something completely different.

I mean we don’t expect people to use this feature everyday but it will streamline your workload. It would be a fantastic addition to Safari. Apple may add a little sidebar to Safari, similar to how it allows iPad users to launch two distinct Safari windows in Split Screen. All in all, we might see users move to Chrome if Apple doesn’t amp up Safari’s productivity features.
