Honor has just added to the X40 GT's gamer-grade boasts by announcing that the Snapdragon 888 CPU powers the device's 144Hz display. In light of this, it could end up becoming the next-generation gaming smartphone with the redesigned X40 chassis. HONOR X40 GT Premium Specs

The HONOR X40 GT comes with 66W charging for the 4,800mAh battery, a perfect version to play unlimited games. It boasts three rear cameras, although the 50MP primary camera is supported by two possibly underwhelming 2+2MP lenses. The X40 GT will use its former variant’s chipset to run Android 12 and Magic UI 6.1. Gamers can easily play games with no lagging issues or forget about searching apps to copy data for increasing storage capacity. The X40 GT comes with a water-drop notch on the 6.5-inch HD+ display, slightly offset by the 90Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 480+ SoC, which in this smartphone of this price range still runs an earlier version of Magic UI 5.0 based on Android 12, powers this LCD. Although the sensors in the back camera hump are just 13MP and 2MP in quality, it features a relatively current dual-lens design. With a capacity of 5,000mAh, the battery is at least a little bigger than previous gaming versions.
