Twitter Is Experimenting With A Status Feature

Twitter is experimenting with a new feature called Status Tweets, which allows users to add one of many prewritten labels to a tweet. To give extra context for your followers, you may add a status subject from a predefined list to your tweets.

'Status Feature'

According to one user who appears to have access to the feature, the available status labels include "Spoiler alert," "Need advice," "Hot take," "Unpopular opinion," "Living the dream," "Working hard, hardly working," "Traveling," and, as Twitter suggested, "A thread," "Shower thoughts," “Clone Phone” and "Case of the Mondays."

Customs statuses are apparently unavailable. When you view someone's Status Tweet, you may also click on the status label to see more tweets related to that status issue.

According to the corporation, the test is now underway with certain consumers in the United States and Australia for a limited period. People participating in the test may submit their own Status Tweets and see others' on iOS and Android, according to a Help Center article from Twitter. They will be able to see Status Tweets but not compose them on Twitter's online version.
